Spot Check IT Assessment

The goal of a Spot Check IT Assessment is to complete a high level vertical and horizontal analysis of the IT organization at a point in time. This is a short snapshot assessment with an objective of doing a 360 review of the performance, business perception and delivery of the IT organization. The New London Spot-Check IT Assessment includes:

  1. 2 Days maximum engagement with the Client thus minimizing impact to client resources
  2. 360 style interviews, 30 minutes each, 20 interviews in total, covering:
    • Business Leaders
    • Technology Management
    • IT Staffers (one level down from IT Management)
  3. Compare to other technology studies, benchmarks and best practices
  4. Senior Level Consultant Assigned for engagement
  5. Results in top 5 recommendations and IT Assessment report delivered within one week

Technology and Organization Assessment

The goal of a Technology and Organization Assessment is to perform a more in depth study of the performance, perception and delivery of the IT organization. This is 15-day maximum assessment with the objectives of doing a 360 review of the IT Organization that leverages New London End to End Decomposition software and tool-kit and will include the following:

  1. 15 Day maximum engagement with the client
  2. 360 style interviews, 30 minutes each, 30-50 interviews in total, covering:
    • Across Lines of Business functional leaders
    • Across IT organization management team
    • Penetrating two levels of IT support staff
  3. One week decomposition if IT detailing, physical and logical view of business applications, service delivery performance (problem ticket analysis) and costs. Note this will only use available data at the time of the assessment.
  4. IT Service Delivery analysis, comparing to current benchmarks and best practices
  5. Deliver "Quick-Win" recommendation
  6. Develop a roadmap for success.
